This Polarized Plane of Existence

·

When I was younger, 6 or so, I was so introverted, that the only things that made sense to me were other people’s silent emotions, a look here, or the way they walked. Words to me where more like auditory feelings that I had to piece together to understand the conveyance, needless to say, I got a lot of F’s in school. On top of that, I was (and to some degree still am) so gullible that I believed almost anything anyone ever told me, for I was unaware that people can hide there true intention behind there emotion, there outward look they project upon the world. Not until I experienced a couple of heartbreaking relationships did I realize that some people have an amazing ability to manipulate situations in their favor, using emotion as a weapon to influence others for their selfish gain. I believe such power arises from lack of knowledge, and since balance must exist, balance is created.

For many years now I have toiled over understanding this place, other people, and this odd spot in our universe we call home. I have read books, been to spiritual lectures and teachers. I’ve Meditated, prayed, delved in to religions ranging form Buddhism to atheism, but the more I learned, the more problems and questions arose, so balance, in its natural state, told what I should do, can you figure it out what it told me? Hope so, cause I aint tellin’!

To verge slightly, the teachings say to “treat others the way you want to be treated”. What does this statement mean to you? What this means to me, is don’t to go out of your way to treat others in a positive way if its not coming from your heart and soul, that’s right, I said it! What it means to me is, take a damn good look at how “you” are treating others! For they way we treat others, is how we secretly treat ourselves. Don’t go out of your way and treat others nicely just because that’s the way you are suppose to act, instead take this golden opportunity to take a long hard look at who you are, and find a way to correct the imbalance with in your self. It’s within that searching, that you may find that you are everyone, and everything, and that you and only you have the power to change yourself. Be the person you want others to be is the real teaching here, do that, and not only will you live happier, but the chicks dig it too!
