For somebody who's never heard or seen you, what's the essential history of the band?
Autumn Rhodes is composed of 5 people. Kevin Hill-Guitar, Kyle Wilson-Guitar, Paul Bartholomew-Bass, Drew Davidson-Drums, and Ryan Randall-Vocals. We all hooked up in January of 2005, and love writing music together.
Do you have any plans of releasing an album?
Yes, we recently recorded 7 songs with Justin Powell of A Thorn For Every Heart and we plan on realeasing a cd with all 7 of them; hopefully in December of 2005.
How do you think using the internet as a marketing tool has helped your success?
It has helped more than anyone can imagine. So many kids have heard of us because of purevolume.com and myspace.com! If we didn't use the internet as a marketing tool we would not have half of the fan base we have.
What are your thoughts on your success in the Southern Utah music scene?
Ummm.....I'm not quite sure what we have done that would be worthy of calling a success. I definitely think that we are writing good music, and put on an entertaining show. Kids in southern utah aren't the biggest supporters of local bands, so we are really excited to have as many kids supporting us as we do. We love each and every one of our fans, and we want them to know that it means the world to us when they come out to the shows and sing along. They will never know how much it means to us.
What are your musical goals?
We are hoping to sign a good deal with a record label and tour non stop. We love playing shows and recording more than anything in the world, and we would do anything to be able to do both of those for a living.
If you could travel to one foreign country or continent in the world -- for a musically themed trip -- where would you go?
I personally would love to go to anywhere in england; anywhere in england would rule.
What is your primary motivator in creating music?
Our love for music. We all love music more than anything else in the world, and we can't imagine what we would be doing in our past times if we weren't writing music with each other.
